Highlights of the Program

  1. Performed 855 (19 issues x 45 districts = 855) youth and women focused legislative town hall meetings;
  2. 43210 individuals participated altogether;
  3. Participants included youth from political parties and their sister organizations, youth clubs, NGO activist, CBOs, journalist, local stakeholders and other issue related organization;
  4. 15 moderators and 15 reporters were mobilized for each town hall meeting.
  5. Informal meeting among 50 youths is conducted in each district and their views were collected;
  6. Meetings involved collecting opinion/recommendation through group discussion, group presentation, open floor (comments) using audio/video recording, note taking and meta-card collection etc.;
  7. The recommendation and suggestion were documented and analyzed, and submitted directly to the concern stakeholders and to the public through press release/conference;
  8. Report publication.
