Aftermath of the Gorkha Earthquake, Samudayik Sarathi has carried following relief and reconstruction activities:

A. Relief work

i) SS helped Christian Aid Ministry (CAM), a Berlin, Ohaio, USA based organization, distribute tarps to 1600 households in Sindhupalchowk district.

ii) SS distributed relief package that included tarp and food items to 450 households in Sindhupalchowk district. The relief packages were purchased using financial assistance provided by the Asia Foundation and other individuals.

B. School Support Project: Christian Aid Ministry (CAM) with Samudayik Sarathi as local partner completed constructing 19 new school buildings including one for deaf pupil in Sindhupalchowk district (Maneshwara, Ghorthali and Choketi VDC) using GI sheets as primary construction material. SS provided local support (Coordination) and extended its expertise in social mobilization, and participated in the designing and planning of the program and provided logistic support.
